Sustainability means to hold up, endure, and retain value. Sustainable or “Green” design is design that goes beyond being just efficient, attractive, on time and on budget. It is a design that cares about how such goals are achieved, about its effect on people and on the environment.

An environmentally responsible interior design professional makes a commitment to find the best ways to diminish the design's impact on the world around us. Over the years, we have always put an emphasis on products and processes that accomplish these types of goals on behalf of our client’s needs and goals.

We are committed to these Sustainable Goals in our work process:

1. We recycle whenever possible – it is better to reupholster or refinish good quality pieces than to throw them out and start over. Our skilled craftsmen can correct almosty any design flawn.
2. We use natural products – for their beauty, durability, and timeless design elements – items such as wood paneling, old marble, stone or wood can usually be refurbished and cleaned, enhanced or restored.
3. We consider the whole picture - when looking at new products; what best fits the design, where does it come from, is it timeless in design, is it safe?
4. We are considering the manufacturers and workers – who fabricate the items we purchase. The overall health, safety and welfare of the individual stretch far and wide.
5. We like products that show imagination – using cast off products to make something completely new! We look at this as an enjoyable challenge.
